Will Goodhand welcomed Ann Widdecombe to Middlesbrough yesterday for an enjoyable evening with interesting discussion. Members and Councillors from across Teesside came to the dinner to hear Ann speak about politics and her life since politics. Strictly come dancing, a spate with the Royal Opera House Covent Garden and her extensive Charity Work all proved a success with those attending.
Will said "Ann has been an inspiration for people across the political divide as someone who speaks her mind and is honest about what she feels. I believe that these qualities meant that the people who voted for her did so because she was a genuine minded MP who said it as she saw it. I hope to be able to emulate that in Middlesbrough South & East Cleveland"
